I love how Birda encourages me to identify every species I see, reinvigorating my garden and year listing and that tingle of excitement when a ‘new’ or ‘first’ species is spotted. The best thing about Birda is that it makes birdwatching a bit more of a quest, and is motivating me to make more time to visit a wider range of nature spots.
One of my favorite things about birding is the connection with other birders and Birda has provided a great app that brings birders together. We can share with other birders, challenge ourselves a bit, and help each other out. It’s loaded with useful information and guides that will help beginners advance their skill and knowledge. A supportive community in which birders can grow and learn more about birds.
I love that Birda is building a new informal online birding community. It’s a great facility to record your sightings, maintain local and global lists, post photographs and take part in light hearted, fun challenges. I’ve been able to build a network of contacts, get support with bird identification and help others to learn. Brilliant!
Birds have been a BIG part of my life. Being transgender and autistic, I’ve always been a bit of a loner. Ever since I started using Birda, I’ve really found my people. It’s such a fun and welcoming community that I’m proud to be a part of! Birda shows that anyone can be a birder. Like me ❤️
I’ve been birdwatching ever since I was small but never managed to find a community of like-minded bird enthusiasts. That is until I downloaded Birda, I was immediately accepted into this community of friendly, helpful bird enthusiasts who get just as excited about spotting birds as I do. Everyone is there to help, whether you’re new to birding or have been doing it for years!
