Rondevlei Bird Sanctuary Bird Hides
Rondevlei Bird Sanctuary is a permanent wetland of approximately 290 hectares situated on the cape flats in the suburb of Grassy Park. It was established in 1952 and now forms part of False Bay Nature reserve. The sanctuary has 5 bird hides and 3 viewing towers and is home to around 230 species of birds as well as a small population of hippo.

River Club Bird Hide
The River Club bird hide is situated at the edge of the River Club’s 9-hole Mashie Gold Course in the Cape Town suburb of Observatory. The bird hide overlooks the confluence of the Liesbeek River and the Black River. Around 40 to 50 species of birds are commonly seen in the area of the hide.

Rietvlei Wetland Reserve Bird Hides
Rietvlei Wetland Reserve is a wetland area forming part of the 880 hectare Table Bay Nature Reserve in Table View area of Cape Town. The reserve has two hides overlooking the lakes and marshes and is home to approximately 187 bird species of birds.
